Features

One app, end-to-end: tools for driving with your crew — from the map to voice — without splitting communication across channels.

Meetups & Events

Organise and manage motoring meetups with RSVP and roles.

Live Map

Follow events, spots and community activity in real time.

Routes & Checkpoints

Plan drives and guide participants along a planned route.

Mixed Feed

One stream: spots, posts and meetup updates from people you follow. Share photos and videos, like them and build your profile.

Groups & Voice

Create persistent motoring groups with their own wall, feed and chat. Jump into a voice room — directly in the app, no third-party tools needed.

Spots & Places on the Map

Spots — photo locations: pin points on the map for great shots and share frames with your crew.

Places — interesting motor spots (viewpoints, restaurants, garages and more): a separate layer with category, description and gallery to plan stops on your route.

Content Verification

We apply heuristics and metadata (including forensics-style signals) that may influence scoring and feed visibility — community support, not a guarantee of “100% truth” in every case.

Why Spotlane? The problem we address

Spotlane solves a real problem for the motoring community — the chaos of organising spots, scattered communication and the lack of a shared home base.

Instead of juggling multiple apps and endless “where are you?” messages:

  • organise meetups with full control over participants,
  • create persistent groups with chat and voice — the community stays alive between events,
  • plan routes and guide your crew through checkpoints,
  • communicate in real time,
  • publish spots that land exactly where they need to.

The difference between a random encounter and a well-organised drive.

Less typing, more driving.

FAQ

Costs, security and what to expect — in plain language.

Is the app free?

Yes. Spotlane is free to download and use.

Which platforms does Spotlane support?

Android is available on Google Play. iOS runs in TestFlight beta, until it publishes on the App Store.

Why is iOS on TestFlight instead of the App Store?

The app is waiting for App Store Review approval. That's a standard step on Apple's side — until it's done, you install iOS through TestFlight, Apple's official beta channel. Once review completes, the app will appear on the App Store.

How do you protect my data?

Details of data processing — what we collect, why, and how long we keep it — are described in the Privacy Policy.

Is my location public?

In the app, spot and route location is a conscious choice you make — you publish only where you want to.

Can I suggest a feature?

Yes — email contact@spotlane.app or leave a rating in the app store. Priorities and the roadmap depend on safety and team capacity.

Privacy & safety (short)

Spots and routes show location only where you deliberately publish. Visibility depends on the context you publish in (e.g. meetup, group).

Report issues: contact@spotlane.app.
